Topic: What’s “Scary” About Our Water Quality?
Just in time for Halloween, Water Talk with Host Scott Whatley and Paul “The Waterman” Dowding, Owner of Water Pro’s takes a frightening look at what could be lurking in the water we drink every day! While ghosts, goblins, and haunted houses may give us a scare, the real monsters could be the invisible contaminants flowing from our faucets. Paul and host Scott Whatley discuss some of the most concerning threats to our drinking water, including PFAS “forever chemicals,” microplastics, pharmaceutical residues, chlorine disinfection byproducts, and other potentially harmful substances. What makes these contaminants especially scary? Many are completely invisible, odorless, and tasteless. Just because your water looks crystal clear doesn’t necessarily mean it’s free of contaminants.
Paul explains why homeowners should understand what’s in their water, the potential long-term health concerns, and how proper water testing and filtration can help protect families. Don’t let your drinking water become a Halloween horror story! Tune in to Water Talk Fridays Noon-1pm on KLZ 560 for a conversation about water quality, emerging contaminants and the importance of awareness, testing and prevention. Call Water Pro’s today at 303-862-5554 for your FREE in-home water test and tell them Scott sent you.
