Friday 6/19/26: Water Talk with Paul the Waterman

Today’s Guests:
On the latest edition of Water Talk, Paul “The Waterman” Dowding of Water Pro’s discussed the top 10 contaminants that may be found in drinking water and why consumers should be informed about what is coming into their homes. Paul explained that while municipal water treatment provides important protection, certain contaminants can still be present, including chlorine and chloramine, PFAS “forever chemicals,” microplastics, pharmaceuticals, heavy metals, nitrates, pesticides, herbicides, volatile organic compounds, and naturally occurring minerals that can affect water quality. The conversation focused on understanding potential risks without causing unnecessary alarm and emphasized the importance of testing and knowing what is in your water. Paul also discussed treatment options available to homeowners, including reverse osmosis and whole-house filtration systems. As always, Water Pro’s offers a free in-home water test to help families better understand and improve the quality of their drinking water. Call 303-862-5554, tell them Scott sent you.
