Today’s Guests:
Heather Haubenschild, Executive Director of Night Lights joins us and share the mission of this awesome ministry. Night Lights provides free respite care for children ages 1 month to 13 years old who have special needs and their neuro-typical siblings, helping parents or caregivers have time to refresh, regroup, and take care of themselves. Heather says all volunteers are put through a background check and receive special training. These volunteers provide an evening of respite care and fun through pre-planned activities including arts and crafts, movie time, free play, sensory play, and music. During a Night Lights evening, each child with special needs has their own “buddy”.
On Nov 8th is the Gala of Grace Fundraiser and you may purchase tickets at www.NightLightsKids.org.
