Then the moment we have all been waiting for and the election results are in! WE WON! Proposition 127 got voted NO! Proposition 127 was a huge win for Wildlife in Colorado. Will Marquardt, Owner of Davis Tent joins us and we discuss the victory and why this was so important to maintain Science-based wildlife management. Prop 127 was a blatant attempt to undermine the authority of Colorado Parks and Wildlife, who for decades has utilized regulated hunting as an effective tool to manage our state’s mountain lion and bobcat populations. We want to extend a special thanks to Dan Gates with Coloradans For Responsible Wildlife Management for spear heading the fight. Now Colorado Parks and Wildlife Scientist and Biologist will continue to manage the 960 species of wildlife in Colorado. A huge thank you to Colorado Voters.
